Our Promise

We take pride in every piece we carry at Fashion Queen. Our team personally curates each collection — from skirts and sweaters to jumpsuits and suits — so you can shop with confidence. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help and will work with you to make it right. Fashion Queen is a physical women's boutique located at 331 Kingston Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213. We serve customers both in store and online, and all online orders are fulfilled directly from our Brooklyn location.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. We begin counting from the delivery confirmation date shown on your tracking information.

For orders picked up or purchased directly in our Brooklyn store, the 30-day window begins on the date shown on your in-store receipt.

If the last day of your return window falls on a Saturday, when our store is closed, or on a recognized federal holiday, your window will automatically extend to the next business day we are open.

Return Conditions

To keep our boutique standards consistent and fair for every customer, returned items must meet all of the following conditions at the time we receive them.

The item must be unworn and must not have been used outside of trying it on at home. It must be unwashed and must not have gone through any laundering or dry cleaning. It must be unaltered, meaning no hemming, tailoring, or any other modification has been made. All original tags must still be attached and fully intact. The item must be free from any odors including perfume, smoke, or deodorant. It must also be free from stains, makeup, or any marks that were not present at the time of purchase.

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted. They will be sent back to you at your own shipping expense and no refund will be processed.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Certain items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances. These include items marked as Final Sale or Clearance at the time of purchase, bodysuits and intimate apparel for hygiene reasons, any item where the original tags have been removed or cut, gift cards, and any item returned after the 30-day return window has passed.

If you are not certain whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before sending anything back. We are always happy to clarify.

How to Return an Item

Step 1 — Reach Out to Us First

All returns must be authorized before you send anything back. Contact our team by email at contact@fashion-queen.shop or by phone at +1 718-756-7473. Please include your order number, the name of the item or items you wish to return, and the reason you would like to return them. Our store hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays.

Step 2 — Wait for Your Return Authorization

Our team will review your request and respond within one to two business days. We will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization number along with clear instructions on how to proceed.

Step 3 — Return the Item

You have two options. You may drop the item off in person at our Brooklyn store during business hours, which is the fastest and simplest option with no shipping involved. Alternatively, you may ship the item back to the address provided in your return authorization confirmation.

Step 4 — Inspection

Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item within two to three business days to confirm it meets our return conditions. You will be notified by email once the inspection is complete.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not issue refunds to a different card or account.

Credit and debit card refunds typically take five to ten business days to appear, depending on your card issuer. PayPal refunds are usually processed within three to five business days. Buy now pay later services such as Shop Pay Installments or Afterpay will process refunds according to their own provider timelines. For cash purchases made in store, we offer a same-day cash refund or store credit, whichever you prefer.

You will receive an email confirmation from us as soon as your refund has been issued. If you have not seen the refund after 10 business days, we recommend first checking your spam folder for our confirmation email and then contacting your bank directly as some institutions have their own internal clearing periods. If the issue is still unresolved after that, please email us at contact@fashion-queen.shop and we will look into it immediately.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or color, we are happy to help based on what is currently available in our Brooklyn store inventory. Simply follow the same return process described above and let us know what you are looking for as a replacement. Exchanges are processed once the original item has passed inspection. If the item you want is not available, we will offer you a full refund or store credit instead.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send an email to contact@fashion-queen.shop with your order number, a clear photo of the item showing the issue, and let us know whether you would prefer a replacement, an exchange, or a full refund. In these cases, we will cover all return shipping costs and prioritize resolving your issue as quickly as possible.

Return Shipping Costs

For standard customer-initiated returns, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect. If you choose to drop off your item in person at our Brooklyn store, there is no shipping cost involved. For damaged or incorrect items, Fashion Queen will cover all return shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method when returning items by mail. Fashion Queen cannot be held responsible for return packages that are lost in transit without a tracking number.

Store Credit

If you would prefer store credit over a refund, we will issue you a Fashion Queen gift card for the full value of your return. There is no expiration date on store credit, so you can use it whenever you are ready.
