Some stores exist to move inventory. Fashion Queen exists because women in Brooklyn deserved better.

Kingston Avenue has always been more than a street. It is a neighborhood where people know each other by name, where families have lived for generations, and where the community has a character all its own. When we opened our doors at 331 Kingston Ave, we were not thinking about trends or profit margins. We were thinking about the women who walked past our window every day and deserved a place where they could find something beautiful, something that fit right, and something that made them feel good about themselves before they even left the store.

That is what Fashion Queen has always been about.

Who We Are

We are a women's clothing boutique, right here in Brooklyn. Not a warehouse. Not a website run from a spare bedroom. A real store, with real people, on a real street in a real neighborhood.

When you walk through our door, someone greets you. When you are not sure about a size, someone helps you figure it out. When you come back a month later, there is a good chance we remember you. That is the kind of store we set out to build, and that is the kind of store we still are.

Our collection focuses on pieces that women actually reach for. Skirts that move well and hold their shape. Dresses that work for more than one occasion. Sweaters you want to put on the moment the weather turns. Jumpsuits and suits and sets for the woman who wants to look pulled together without spending an hour getting there. We do not carry everything. We carry what we believe in.

How We Choose What We Carry

Every item in our store has been looked at, touched, and thought about before it ever makes it onto our floor or onto our website. We do not add something to our collection because it is trending. We add it because we would wear it ourselves, or because we know our customers would reach for it.

We work with suppliers we trust, and we only bring in pieces that meet the standard we have set for ourselves. If something does not hold up or does not fit the way it should, it does not come back. Our customers trust us to edit on their behalf, and we take that seriously.

In Store and Online

Our Brooklyn store is where everything starts. It is where we receive new pieces, where we steam and organize and put things out, and where most of our customers first find us. If you are local, we would love to see you in person.

For customers who cannot make it to Kingston Avenue, our online store carries the same pieces available in the shop. Every order is packed and fulfilled by our own team, from our Brooklyn location. When your order ships, it leaves from our store, not from a third party warehouse on the other side of the country.

Come See Us

We are open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays.

If you have a question, want to check on an order, or just want to know if something is available in your size, reach out to us directly. We are not a call center. You will hear from a real person who works in the store.
